I was an aging rocker, a loose cannon. Now I’m ten years younger, full of peace and zest for life.
History
Oxford, also known as the "City of Dreaming Spires", is famous the world over for its university and for its place in history. For over 800 years, it has been a home to royalty and scholars, and since the ninth century has been an established town, although people are known to have lived in the area for thousands of years.

Established in 1983 as a ministry of the Salt & Light family of churches, King’s Bible College moved from Canada to Harpenden in the UK before being located in the Scottish Borders. In 2001 the college came to Oxford and added ‘Training Centre’ to its name to reflect an emphasis on equipping students. In 2011 we became King’s Theological College, embracing a call to combine more fully our biblically grounded theology training with the practical outworking in mission.

A beautiful historic city with a reputation for academic excellence, our location in Oxford places us firmly at the centre of a rich tradition of biblical engagement. From the earliest efforts of Wycliffe and Tyndale to place the Bible into the hands of every Christian, we continue to help our students read as the text was originally meant to be read.
Oxford is about 80 kilometres from London (Heathrow) airport and further from Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports, the sea ports and the city of London.
